I recently had the joy of photographing a room full of princesses all decked out in their gowns and tiaras. It’s not every day that you get to say that. Believe me when I say that it was an absolute "cute fest". It was such fun watching these little ones dance with their dads & grandpas. Crossroads Community Church was the sight of the "D6 Father-Daughter Princess Ball". For those of you not familiar with the “D-6” concept, here’s a quick explanation in a nutshell. D-6 is a principle based on Deuteronomy 6:5-7, which tells us that the commandments that God gives us should not only be on our hearts, but should be something that we walk out on a daily basis in order to impress them on the hearts of our children. Crossroads recognizes the biblical mandate of parents being involved with the spiritual development of their children in a very hands-on way. This means that they are helping to equip parents to be the primary spiritual leaders of their homes and helping parents and children connect in very meaningful ways. It’s such a great concept, and it was a great night for dads and grandpas to celebrate the little princesses in their lives. There was a lot of great food, and a lot of spinning around on the dance floor, and a quiz that gave those dads a chance to showcase their knowledge of their favorite Disney princesses.
